Throughout the month of November, I am walking 50 miles with my dog to fundraise for the charity Samaritans.
Who are Samaritans?
From the Samaritans’ mission statement: We’re here every day and night of the year for anyone struggling to cope. We make sure people have somewhere to turn and support when they need it most. We work with communities to let people know we’re here for them and we campaign to make suicide prevention a priority. Read more about the Samaritans’ vision, mission and values.
How can your donation help the charity?
£25 can train, support and retrain existing volunteers. £44 can help keep the online chat open for one hour. £133 can help cover the costs of recruiting and training a new volunteer. Whether you donate £1 or £100, every penny counts.
What will I be doing?
My dog Liberty Belle and I will be walking every day throughout November, rain or shine, until we reach a total of 50 miles! This equates to around 1.6 miles a day (but some walks will be longer, some shorter). You can keep up to date on our progress on our JustGiving page, linked below.
