“There are TWO things right with this film, and ONE massive thing wrong with it…”
- It was a master stroke to make it more musical with the help of the creative powerhouse duo of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul; creators of music from ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘La La Land’ and ‘Dear Evan Hansen’.
- It is fantastic to see Snow White doesn’t need a prince to save the day (with the exception of the obligatory “true loves kiss”) and instead she can be the hero, well kind of!
But… despite the improvements above, there is no getting away from it being the same tired 2-D story of downtrodden princess.
