During the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, terrorists took some of the Israeli Olympic team hostage… This is the story of how the ABC sports division covered the news for some of the estimated 900 million people watching across the world.
Until this movie, I had never heard about it, and whilst the historical events themselves were interesting, I enjoyed the fascinating insight into live news in the 1970s most. This was before the digital age and 24-hour rolling news.
The story is also a timely reminder that we should all know and remember our history.
