‘Back of a Bookmark’ Book Review:
Scatter Brain
by Shaparak Khorsandi

Book reviews in 100 words or less…

“If you have ADHD, or know someone who does, Shaparak’s anecdotes and brutally honest account, will be very relatable.”

Aged 5, Shaparak Korsandi had to flee Iran following a threat to her Dad’s life by the Ayatollah. This isn’t that book, see ‘A Beginner’s Guide To Acting English’.

Instead, this memoir-ish, feels a lot like Shaparak is reading about her life for the first time alongside the reader. This time she’s seeing it with an understanding of her life that she didn’t have as she was living it because she’s recently been diagnosed with ADHD as an adult.

Rating: 3 out of 5.
